A comparative study of mckenzie approach versus mulligan mobilization with a common use of if in the management of lumbar disc prolapse

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness McKenzie's approach versus Mulligan's mobilization with common use interferential therapy in management Lumbar disc prolapse. Thirty (30) individuals; aged between 20 45 years, presenting prolapse inter vertebral symptom duration within one month, were randomized into two groups. Group-A received McKenzie and Group B Mulligan therapy. treatment four weeks. Data obtained on pain intensity levels i.e. visual analogue scale (VAS) level functional disability, Oswestry disability index (ODI). mean score ODI reduced from a 37.8667 29.4667 group-A (McKenzie group) whereas group (Mulligan therapy) has been improved 38.2667 16.8. analysis both A (P= 5.9x10-07) (P=1.7x10) shows significant improvement while inter-group comparison group-B subjects as compared (p=9.9x10-10). VAS had 6.78667 4.44; approaches 6.98667 2.62; for intergroup showed strength significantly (p=5.17703 X 10-6). results demonstrate that SNAGs is superior managing
